→ Common Profile Mistakes
Below are some of the most common issues we find when reviewing artist profiles. Taking a few minutes to check these can make a real difference to how quickly your profile can be approved and submitted for work.
Web Links (IMDb, Spotlight, Website & Social Media)
If you do not have an IMDb page, Spotlight profile, website, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram or similar account, leave the field completely blank.
Do not enter:
- N/A
- None
- Not Applicable
This can make it appear that a valid profile exists when it does not, which can be misleading for bookers.
If you do have an account, enter only your profile name or username exactly as it appears.
Do not enter:
- www.facebook.com/yourname
Simply enter:
- yourname
Documents
Please upload clear, readable documents.
Where possible, upload documents as PDFs or high-quality scans rather than small photographs.
Please name each uploaded file clearly, for example:
- Birth Certificate
- Passport
- Licence Form Page 1
- Licence Form Page 2
This helps us process your profile much more quickly and avoids delays.
Licence Forms
- Please sign the forms. Do not type your signature.
- If you don’t have access to a printer, you can sign the forms digitally using a free app such as PDF Gear.
- Please do not date the licence forms. We reuse these forms throughout the year for multiple licence applications.
Birth Certificate / Passport
Please ensure a copy of your birth certificate or passport has been uploaded where required for licensing.
Passport Details
If you would like to be considered for work abroad, make sure your passport information is complete, including:
- Passport number
- Issue date
- Expiry date
Incomplete passport details may prevent us from submitting you for overseas opportunities.
Images
Your photographs are your shop window.
We recommend uploading a good selection of current, high-quality images, using all available image slots where possible.
Try to include a variety of:
- Headshots
- Smiling and neutral expressions
- Full-length photographs
- Different clothing and looks
Always ensure the images accurately reflect how you currently look.
Casting Tape
A casting tape is one of the most important parts of your profile and is essential for submissions.
If you haven’t yet uploaded one, please do so by following our guide:
www.bizzykidzagency.com/castingtape
Skills
Only list skills that can genuinely be demonstrated if requested.
All specialist skills must be supported with a video, for example:
- Musical instruments
- Singing
- Dancing
- Martial arts
- Gymnastics
- Sports
This allows clients to see the standard of the skill before making casting decisions.
Acting Experience
If you attend acting classes, drama school or have professional acting experience, make sure this is included on your profile.
If you have a monologue, self-tape, showreel or acting scene, upload it to YouTube as an Unlisted video and add the link in the Web Links section of your profile.
Accents
Please select your natural speaking accent using the ⭐ (star).
Only list additional accents if you can perform them convincingly.
Every additional accent listed must be supported with a casting tape demonstrating that accent.
Measurements
Children grow quickly, so measurements must be checked every month.
To do this, log in via the Bizzy Agency website using the Model Login on the homepage.
If there have been no changes, simply tick the confirmation box to update the date. This lets us know the measurements have been checked and are still correct.
Keeping measurements current helps ensure children are submitted accurately for suitable work.
Keep Your Profile Current
Whenever something changes, please update your profile.
This includes:
- Hair colour or hairstyle
- Height
- Clothing sizes
- Shoe size
- New skills
- Qualifications or grades
- Acting credits
- Training
- New photographs
- Passport details
