🏠 Bizzy Hub → Your Profile

Your profile is your professional marketing portfolio. It is often the first thing a casting director or client will see before deciding whether to request a self-tape, invite you to an audition or book you for a role.

A complete, professional and up-to-date profile gives you the best possible chance of being considered for suitable opportunities.

For more detailed guidance on completing your profile, including examples and best practice, please refer to the Bizzy Agency Information Pack, which provides a comprehensive step-by-step guide to every section of your profile.

Photographs

Your photographs should always show what you look like today.

Please update your images whenever there are significant changes, including:

  • Hair colour
  • Hairstyle
  • Facial hair
  • Glasses
  • Height (monthly for artists under 18)
  • Strong suntans
  • Overall appearance

Casting directors expect artists to look like their photographs. If you arrive at an audition or booking looking significantly different, it can create problems for both you and the client.

All photographs should be:

  • In colour
  • Clear and well lit
  • Natural and recent
  • Free from filters
  • Without sunglasses
  • Without hats

The first image on your profile must always be a cropped head-and-shoulders photograph.

For babies, the first image should be a cropped headshot.

Measurements

Please keep all measurements accurate and up to date.

This includes:

  • Height
  • Weight
  • Clothing sizes
  • Shoe size
  • Chest
  • Hips
  • Waist

Many castings use measurements as part of the selection process, particularly for commercials, photographic work and costume fittings.

Skills

Please include every genuine skill you have.

Examples include:

  • Musical instruments
  • Singing
  • Dancing
  • Sports
  • Martial arts
  • Swimming
  • Horse riding
  • Cycling
  • Languages
  • Driving licences
  • Specialist skills

If you are highly proficient in a skill, please mark it with a star.

If you have a basic ability, list the skill without a star.

Where possible, skills should be demonstrated with a video.

Upload your videos to YouTube (set as Unlisted if you wish) and add the individual video links to the Web Links section of your profile.

Accents

Please include every accent you can perform confidently.

Your natural English-speaking accent should always be marked with a star. This is the accent other people hear when you naturally speak English.

Any additional accents you can perform should be listed without a star.

Accent demonstrations should always be uploaded to YouTube (set as Unlisted if you wish) and the individual video links added to the Web Links section of your profile.

Videos

Casting Tape (Introduction Video)

All artists aged 4 years and above, including adults, should have a casting tape on their profile.

Your casting tape must follow our agency guidance and should be submitted directly to us.

Once received, we will upload your casting tape to your profile.

Additional Videos

Additional videos can greatly enhance your profile and help casting directors see your abilities before requesting an audition.

Examples include:

  • Accent demonstrations
  • Singing
  • Musical instruments
  • Sports
  • Dancing
  • Specialist skills

We recommend uploading these videos to YouTube and setting them to Unlisted for privacy. You can then add the individual video links to the Web Links section of your profile under Personal Details.

CV & Professional Experience

Please include any recognised professional work on your CV.

A simple format works best, for example:

  • Tesco – Commercial – Featured Boy – 2026
  • BBC – Television Drama – Supporting Artist – 2025

Only include genuine professional credits.

School productions, amateur performances and family photo shoots should not be listed as professional experience.

Training & Qualifications

Please include any relevant training or recognised qualifications.

Examples include:

  • Drama school
  • Acting classes
  • LAMDA
  • Dance schools
  • Ballet grades
  • Musical theatre
  • Piano grades
  • Singing qualifications
  • Martial arts grades
  • Coaching certificates
  • Other recognised achievements

Where appropriate, training and skills are best demonstrated with a video. Upload your videos to YouTube (set as Unlisted) and add the individual video links to the Web Links section of your profile.

Availability

Please keep your availability up to date.

If you become unavailable due to holidays, school trips, examinations, work commitments or any other reason, please update your Profile Calendar as soon as possible.

It is also important to respond promptly to any availability requests sent by the agency.

Keep Everything Current

Your profile should always reflect how you look and what you can do today.

Review your profile regularly and update it whenever anything changes.

Even small changes can make a difference and help ensure casting directors are always viewing an accurate representation of you.

Remember, your profile is working for you even when you’re not. Clients regularly search artist profiles directly, so keeping it current gives you the best possible chance of being discovered.

Important

The more complete and accurate your profile is, the more information our bookers and casting directors have available when considering you for work.

While no profile can guarantee auditions or bookings, an incomplete or outdated profile may reduce your opportunities simply because important information is missing.
